We aim to deliver all products as soon as possible. Please check individual product pages for delivery lead times and services associated with each product in your order. Below is an outline of the services we offer on Powershed buildings.
Standard Delivery
All our products include Free Delivery to most UK Mainland postcodes. Other areas may incur a delivery charge, this will be clarified during the checkout process. Typically areas the incur additional charges are, but not limited to, remote areas of Scotland, Isle of White & Guernsey. We will contact you prior to delivery to agree a suitable delivery date.
Providing you have given a mobile number, when the item is scanned onto a delivery vehicle you may be sent a text from the courier – please note the item can be scanned onto a vehicle at any point throughout the day (it could be on a morning run or an afternoon run). While every effort is made to provide this tracking information, it is not a guaranteed service.
The Log Cabin is delivered kerbside, on a pallet – the delivery is moved with a pallet truck. Where the delivery is made is down to the delivery driver’s discretion (although they are usually very helpful). Delivery is contactless and so the driver cannot take the shed off the pallet and move it for you.
Once delivered, please check your order against the component list prior to installation.
Lead times for all standard services are stated at the top of the page and may be extended depending on location and circumstances. Upgraded services may also result in a longer lead time.
Delivery FAQ
Do I need to be home for my Delivery?
Yes, you do need to be home for your delivery unless prior agreement has been made with the manufacturer via email. We do request that the driver contacts you before arriving as well, this will be at their discretion. Our delivery drivers are NOT allowed to place your log cabin in your back gardens even if the gate is left open.
Will I need to help my delivery driver?
Our drivers DO NOT need your help during a delivery. They will not ask for your help and they can manage all the items themselves. We are not insured to cover any customer injuries and therefore we ask you NOT to help or try and help our drivers while they make a delivery.
My house has a restricted access, what do I do?
Our drivers are only contracted to provide kerbside drop offs and deliveries. They will NOT bring any of our orders through your home. A driver may offer to take an order further; for instance a back garden but this is ONLY at their own discretion. Please be aware the pallet truck cannot go up or down stairs or across gravel or grass therefore, depending on access the driver will be unable to take it much further than the pavement / driveway. If you have any questions about access or you live in a restricted access zone please contact us prior to ordering.
My Order Has Not Been Delivered, What Should I Do?
We deliver between 8am and 6pm. If your order has not been delivered when expected please click here.
Please Note: Additional items such as paint, furniture or storage units may be delivered separately on a different day to your main product. If you have ordered multiple products in one order then you are likely to receive multiple deliveries.
